Abstract This study focuses on CH 4 reforming with CO 2 over Ni supported yttria mixed zirconia support. Different loading of was used to enhance the performance towards achieving optimum activity. The physicochemical properties both fresh calcined and catalysts were studied using a range characterization techniques. specific surface area measurement by BET method showed progressive increase in an loading. monoclinic ( m - ZrO ) tetragonal t phases identified all samples XRD analysis. A reduction intensity observed adding while diffraction pattern crystalline not identified. reducibility analysis influence yttria. It induces formation NiYO 3 species stronger active metal-support interaction. From catalytic test, 5Ni/10Y-Z-3215 had highest feed conversion about 68 88% for respectively.
